We are excited to invite you to an Open Day at our tennis club. Whether you are a seasoned player or new to the game, this is a fantastic opportunity to explore our facilities, meet fellow tennis enthusiasts, and enjoy a day full of fun and activities.
This event is open to all ages and skill levels, so feel free to bring your family and friends. We look forward to meeting you.
8.30-1pm - Come and try tennis for free
FREE COACHING available at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. No booking required and all equipment provided.
Christmas Tennis fun
Well done to those who braved the cold and drizzle today to play off those accumulated Christmas calories. Fun tennis, mulled wine, cakes and a Christmas raffle helped to raise £53 towards our fundraising campaign.
2022 Annual Tennis Tourment
Sunday 26th September 2022
Burton Joyce Tennis Club held its annual club tennis tournament Sunday, 26th September. Some good competitive tennis played in a Round Robin format. Congratulations to the two group winners Barry & Mary and Luke & Jo. The final match play-off was close with Jo and Luke finishing as the eventual winners.
2022 Nottinghamshire LTA Awards Evening
Saturday 19th March 2022
Our Ladies Short Division 1 and Mens Division 5 teams were presented with their champions trophy at the Nottinghamshire LTA awards evening which took place at The Nottingham High School on Saturday 19th March. The Ladies team have impressively retained their title for three consecutive years and the Men will enjoy their summer 2022 season in Division 4. Excellent performances from all the players in both teams!

Club House Re-development Project
October 2019
A sub-committee of 10 club member volunteers has been formed to lead a project to :

re-develop & modernise the clubhouse
-
consider the development opportunities for the land at the side of the clubhouse
In order to achieve there objectives, a £5000 fund raising target has been created to support the club in future grant and loan applications.
We have just started and so far we have raised £120 from our rummage sale, £60 from Club Finals day and £128 selling clothes and bric a brac at the Arnold Flea Market.
Looking ahead they are also going to organise a Christmas Party in December so watch this space. Can you please support their activities in any way you can as the outcome will be for the benefit for us all.
